  I don't think I have visited or edited anything on the site since the pandemic began.  The reason(s) go from health issues to frustration over being confined.  All of the scheduled appearances at the Mixx were cancelled due to the pandemic closing indoor dining.  So there has not been much share until now.  First of all let me thank Hassan Jamal for giving me a Yamaha Keyboard 76 keys.  I have an 88 key weighted keys Casio, but the Yamaha has over 35 voices or instruments that it can sound like.  So the…

Starting April 3rd I will be at The Mixx 443 East Colorado Blvd. Pasadena.Ca. 91101 from 7pm-10pm as part Roscoe Qwens' "Jazz Zone".  This will be a "Jam Session" so bring your instrument and let's make some music!

I'd like to wish everyone a "Happy New Year"..  It's a new year, a new beginning a fresh start.  The has not been working since the loss of our drummer Gene Stone.  It may be time to follow a different path to create something new as opposed to just trying to continue down the same path.  One door closes another opens.  Let's walk through and see what happens.

My friend Gene Stone has passed.  He will be missed by family, friends and the band.  He cannot be duplicated so we will move on.  In a perfect world a familiar face takes the chair.  We should be performing live by the end of August.  You'll be the first to know!!!!
